We were delighted to take part in Connectio Day, Barcelona Activa’s open-innovation meetup that brings startups, corporates, and public institutions together to spark collaborations and real business opportunities.
Our CEO and co-founder, Marta Rodríguez-Tobalo, represented BlindStairs at the event, sharing how our UnbiasAI approach helps teams broaden talent pools and reduce bias while staying aligned with European standards on transparency and human oversight. Those principles are built into Merified, our AI-powered assistant that anonymizes early-stage applications and enriches profiles to deliver fair, data-driven shortlists recruiters can stand behind. It was a great opportunity to connect with potential partners across HR tech, education, and the public sector—and to explore pilots that put fair, auditable hiring into practice.
