BlindStairs at Catalunya Summit 2025

On Saturday, May 10, 2025, BlindStairs took part in the Catalunya Summit, a flagship entrepreneurship and innovation gathering hosted in Vilafranca del Penedès at Espai Jove La Nau.

Our CEO and co-founder, Marta Rodríguez-Tobalo, joined founders, mentors, and investors to share how BlindStairs is building a fairer hiring future with ethical AI. Throughout the day, conversations focused on practical ways technology can broaden talent pools, reduce bias, and strengthen equal opportunity—principles at the heart of our UnbiasAI approach and operationalized in Merified, our AI-powered hiring assistant that anonymizes early-stage applications and delivers auditable recommendations with human oversight.

Catalunya Summit was an energizing chance to connect with the region’s startup community, exchange lessons with other innovators, and spotlight Barcelona’s growing leadership in people-centric AI. We’re excited to build on those connections and keep advancing recruitment that is fair, inclusive, and transparent.
